About the Photo
Four Upward Bound seniors (pictured left to right: Angel Torres, Gabby LeBlanc, Khamla Moua, and Vianca Trejo) conducted research at the University of Arkansas Membrane Science, Engineering, and Technology Center (MAST Center) during the 2024 Upward Bound Summer Academy. This immersive research experience was made possible through a National Science Foundation grant and partnership between Upward Bound and Dr. Ranil Wickramasinghe, Distinguished Professor of Chemical Engineering and Director of the MAST Center.
