Megan Clark
Megan Clark graduated from the University of Arkansas with a BA in English and MFA in Creative Writing. She earned her Ph.D. in English (creative writing) at Georgia State University where she was a Virginia Spencer Carr Fiction Fellow and worked as the fiction editor for New South magazine. Currently, she is an assistant professor of English at Brenau University where she is the rising chair of the Humanities department. Her fiction, poetry, and nonfiction have appeared in Deep South Magazine, the Masters Review Anthology, New Southerner, and other publications. She's always excited to return to teach at Upward Bound each summer and see what writing shenanigans the students can dream up. Originally from the Ozark foothills, she now resides in Atlanta with her spouse and aloof calico cat named Amelia Jean. In her free time, she is an avid video gamer, book lover (of course), and painter.
