Upward Bound Students at KNWA


Upward Bound is a college preparation and access program for eligible high school students in grades 9-12. Funded through grants from the U.S. Department of Education, the University of Arkansas’ Upward Bound 1, Upward Bound 2, and Upward Bound Math and Science programs provide an array of academic and support services designed to prepare students for entry into higher education and successful completion of a college degree.

Upward Bound is accepting applications for our summer residential programs. Our Summer Academy program runs from June 11 through July 25. Our Sophomore Summer program runs from June 11 through June 29. Our application form has all the details.
